In multilayered springs, there is a hole called center hole at the center of springs drilled to determine stud’s location which connects layers. While these holes for thin springs can easily be cutted, thick springs need preheating. Sistem Teknik manufactures these furnaces in three types due to their transfer type. These are; 1- Walking beam furnaces 2- Pallet conveyored furnaces 3- Chain conveyored funnaces. To determine the type of the furnace, location and site conditions of plant, loading/unloading directions are crucial. In this furnace, leaf springs heated directly by nozzle-mix burners located to the top and the bottom of the furnace. Advantage of this type of heating is that the heating time is shorter.
