For the Aging-effect/Texturing we produce brushes with the following filaments: Crimped Steel of different sections, between 0,20 – 0,50 mm LIZ Iron Cord, available in two sections: 0,175 and 0,25 mm Abrasive Nylon in the grits 46 – 60 – 80 – 120 – 180 – 320 For Dust removal and the Distribution of paint use filaments that have the peculiar property to not charge electrostatic while in use, like: Horsehair Tampico (plant fiber) that also has a very light abrasive function of finishing. The Cylindrical Brushes can be manufactured with different diameters and lengths, as well as with different filaments based on a custom design Characteristics and Variables for the Treatment and the Finishing of Wood materials The secret that allows users of the SIT brushes to obtain the desired result on different wood materials, depends on a few parameters, enlisted here below: Advancement speed of conveyor belt, which carries the profiles that need to be treated superficially Number of brushes in the series Type of filaments Length of filaments Winding pitch (for spiral brushes) or pitch between the holes (for punched brushes) Interference between the filaments and the surface of profile being worked Brush rotating speed Brush rotating sense: towards or against the profile feed direction.
