A wide range of special side channel blowers is offered for transport of explosive or
corrosive gases with gas tight versions. For use of air in explosive zones a variety of blowers with Ex motors are available. ATEX conforming blowers are supplied with the required certificates. For applications with corrosive gases a range of protective coatings can be used, which are applied to the internal parts of the blower. Characteristics of gases often differ from air and influence the performance of the blowers.

- absolute pressure at inlet
- absolute pressure at outlet or differential pressure
- temperature of the gas at inlet
- nature of the gas
- mass weight of the gas
- application zone according to ATEX
