Application
SKF LHRP 2 is a thixotropic, solvent dispersed rust preventive providing long term indoor and outdoor protection to ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. This product deposits a slightly greasy, thixotropic film. The thixotropic nature of the product provides short drainage periods. The residual films can be cleaned well in industrial cleaning operations because the thixotropic film is readily liquefied by slight mechanical agitation or heat.
Bearing do not need to be cleaned from SKF LHRP 2 prior to the application of greases, as it does not influence the performance of the greases.
SKF LHRP 2 is available in 5 litres (1.3 US gal.) cans.
