Skyray Instruments EDX3000 is the higher end bench top model for precious metals analysis. Equipped within the soul of the instrument is a Silicon Pin Diode detector capable of detecting 24 elements simulaneously from Sulfur(S) to Uranium(U). This unit was especially designed for precious metals analysis in alloys, however, this unit is capable of running tests for Lead (Pb) and plating thickness measurements.
