A very simple and inexpensive shaft guide system is a hardened precision shaft which is not underpinned like a shaft support rail unit, but the wave is simply clamped in so-called shaft blocks. On the shaft run the linear housing unit(s) to which the linear element to be moved is attached. Usually min. 2 this Set's required which is secured through a connecting plate to the housing units to Radial movement. The aplications of shaft support guides are very diverse due to its simple construction. At high loads, depending on the length and diameter of the shaft, of course, rather a fully supported system, such as the shaft support rail unit is recommended.
