MBA 700 SMB Group

The high sensitive level switch MBA 700 is a real, patented, vibrating single rod compared to other vibrating rods or sensors. The sword-shaped single rod in form of a vibrating paddle prevents formation of deposits on the vibrating part.
The modern so called "vibrating paddle" MBA 700 vibrates at 290 Hz with low energy. Therefore the device cannot "shovel itself free" and faulty measurements through excavation effects are consequently avoided. This makes the MBA 700 capable of detecting extremely light bulk materials with a weight as low as 10 grams per liter. Wedged material, which can be found very often when utilizing vibrating forks, is not even physically possible with the MBA 700.

Advantages
The vibrating paddle sensor is solely made of stainless steel. The extremely robust head with its electronic components is identical with the casing of the rotating-paddle device MBA 200 as well as the membrane switch MBA 100.
The measuring procedure is not bound to the type of bulk material. Consequently the MBA 700 is well applied for frequently changing materials.
Whether tea-leaves or sand, wood shavings or sugar, the MBA 700 can be used universal.
The MBA 700 is built modularly. Depths up to 4000 mm length can be realized with tube-extensions, while mounting lengths up to 20 m require a special cable, which connects the vibrating paddle with the electronic casing.
The MBA 700 can even be installed in separation layers (water/sand): The vibrating paddle operates in the water. Just as the sediment (such as sand) dampens the vibration, the instrument generates a signal. This application can, for instance, be used in the aspiration area of pumps.
