S7/S5 - Ethernet / USB

The new versions of NETLink PRO and the S7/S5 OPC Server, as well as Softing’s new S5-PCLink, have expanded the suite of Softing products for convenient, powerful and economical access to data in SIMATIC S7 and S5 controllers. NETLink PRO, which was recently recognized as one of the top developments of 2006, is a robust S7 adapter available in Ethernet and USB versions. In hundreds of installations worldwide, it has proven itself to be an economical alternative to the communications professional processors from Siemens and other manufacturers. The new Version 1.3 is up to 20% faster than its predecessor, and it supports up to 12 MPI/PROFIBUS connections at once. With a single NETLink PRO, you can easily access up to twelve S7 controllers using Siemens STEP7, WinCC, ProTool or the Softing S7/S5 OPC server. The Ethernet version, known as NETLink PRO/ETH, now also supports the RFC 1006 protocol (ISO-on-TCP).
Alongside the adapters for S7 systems, Softing's new S5-PCLink enables economical access to S5 controllers via Ethernet, STEP5 or the Softing S7/S5 OPC server.
