This powerful diagnostic tool analyzes PROFIBUS communication during operation. Intended for both service technicians and fieldbus experts, it provides support in commissioning, optimization, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. PROFIBUS DP and PA networks can be connected simultaneously; the network type is detected automatically. The Diagnose mode continuously analyzes the state of each station on the bus and shows the results in a clear, easy-to-read display. Functions:

The Trace mode logs and displays the frames according to user-defined trigger and filter settings, such as PROFIBUS services, addresses and data. Even a slow deterioration in the physical state of a fieldbus can be detected indirectly on the basis of error frames, retransmissions and device restarts.
