In potentially hazardous environments such as sewers and over-ground fuel storage tank, GaugerGSM is perfect for remote monitoring of level and temperature. It houses a PVDF-coated ultrasonic level sensor, which is resistant to most corrosive chemicals, and two temperature sensors for highly-accurate recording. With an operation range of up to 8 m (26’) and a short dead zone of 15 cm (6”), this meter also comes with an optional external batter pack for use in places lacing power supply. GSM technology offers non-contact remote measurement. In addition, the lack of any moving parts makes it very safe and stable. The standard one-size-fits-all level meter complies with Ex directives for electrical equipment in hazardous environments (Type ia, Group IIB gases, Temperature category 4, Ga Protection level). It also offers IP68 protection level.
