A Complete Knock Down (CKD) kit is now offered for the Gauger line. The Gauger product line consists of ultrasonic level meters and includes GaugerGSM, Gauger485 and Gauger420. The CKD includes five main components and tool kit to allow complete construction of the system. Each component is thoroughly tested in the plant prior to shipment. Our partner needs to assemble the complete system and perform final testing.

Purchasing a CKD kit rather than a complete system is advantageous in two cases:

1) When customs taxes are appreciably higher for complete products as compared with kits. In these cases, the added resources required by the partner to locally assemble and test the product are lower than the tax gain.

2) When supporting end-customers, quicker response time is now possible by a partner who is capable of handling local part replacement.
