The converters have got a sturdy construction and in some cases they are protected by a metal frame, which also has a support function.
The windings and the stator laminations are well dimensioned and have got a big capacity of charge. They are ptotected by means of gaskets against the penetration of agents.
The converters mount permanent magnets processed with special magnetic alloys so that a stable tension and excellent start capacities are guaranteed.
The long-life bearings are maintenance-free and have got the protection degree IP 44.
In the SCF version the complete external body is of aluminium and has got smooth surfaces. The converters are high-quality products and guarantee
an economic operation and very little maintenance.
