CNC grinders for flat-surface fine grinding of hard materials, such as glass, quartz, ceramics and certain crystals. Equally suitable for high-volume production, small-batch or laboratory sample requirements. Special-purpose machines in the EDP series have been developed for specific applications, such as crystal wafer back lapping, and coarse and fine grinding of optical components. The plate diameter range is from 320 to 2000 mm (12.5” to 6.5’). Precise control of thickness, flatness and surface quality can be achieved.
