The ultrasonic compact sensor SONOFLOW CO.56 measures the flow of liquids in tubes and detects air bubbles simultaneously. Therefore the sensor unites two measuring techniques in one device: the flow metering and the air bubble detection.

Unlike all other sensors on the market the complete evaluation is integrated in the sensor, another external electronic board is not required. This offers the user flexibility in terms of its product design. The number of deployed sensors can be varied without blocking precious space in the system.

As a clamp-on device, the high precision hybrid sensor is particularly well suited for processes with strict hygienic standards. The tube is clamped into the sensor and enables a simple handling. No coupling medium is required. The SONOFLOW CO.56 adapts automatically to dynamically varying acoustic conditions, thus guarantees high measurement stability despite changing environmental conditions.

As for all sensors of the SONOFLOW series, we offer an advanced, but easy to operate software as an optional tool. This software allows for the comfortable testing of the sensors and on request for the modification of the sensor parameters. For example, the customer is able to adjust the sensor sensitivity or to switch the electrical interfaces. Thereby the SONOFLOW CO.56 can be adapted individually to respective applications.
