The SONAPHONE-ultrasonic detectors of SONOTEC can dramatically reduce your energy and maintenance costs. They are designed to identify leaks and locate even the smallest leakages through detecting ultrasound produced by escaping air or gas from compressed air and vacuum systems quickly, reliably und economically. The SONAPHONE devices are simple to use and highly sensitive.
These ultrasonic instruments are very beneficial when used in conjunction with a surface contact probe to monitor ultrasound being generated from worn or dry bearings in rotating machinery. This early warning of potential bearing failure is vital in a planned approach to predictive maintenance, leading also to a reduction of costs. The regular control of engines, pumps and gearings with the SONAPHONE devices leads to more safety within operations and guaranties a high machine availability.
The option of an additional ultrasonic transmitter allows the control of the leak tightness of windows, doors, cabins, vehicles and devices without much effort.
A range of probes is available to either scan large industrial areas for leaks or pinpoint a leak in a specific valve or fitting. The parabolic probe can accurately detect leaks over 20 metres away with the aid of the integrated red dot rifle sight.
Intrinsically Safe and Data Logging models for a quick data transfer between detector and computer via USB interface are also available.
