The tang is used for mounting the insert and if necessary can be removed after insertion using a special punch, so that a screw can be freely introduced. This insert is used in all sectors of industry and is an indispensable element for achieving excellent anchoring in high-quality assemblies: it has been developed for creating or regenerating threaded seats subjected to heavy static or dynamic loads, including at elevated temperatures.
