These SMPS caps have a leaded configuration to safeguard the device against thermal and mechanical stress, ensuring the longevity of each cap’s lifetime. With high power and voltage capability of up to 500VDC, SMPS capacitors are ideal for DC-DC power supply applications. With lower ripple voltage and less self-heating, these SMPS caps also have a characteristically low ESR and low ESL when compared to other capacitive elements.
