Spectrum's ultra precise, non-contact Hall Effect Position Sensors feature an industry-leading absolute linearity of ±0.1% and yield nearly unlimited life cycles. These 12-bit resolution devices come in 1/2" (12.7 mm), 7/8" (22.23 mm) and dual (double redundant) sizes. High temperature and custom versions are available, offering a cost effective solution for many harsh environment applications.

Hall effect position sensors convert energy from a magnetic field into an electrical signal, thus enabling their contact-less operation. Other producers of hall effect sensors are capable of linearities ranging from ±0.5 to ±1%. Spectrum achieves such precise linearity through proprietary precision machining, chip-tuning capability and electronic testing processes.
