The internally seperated inner conductor improves the protection effect and extends the bandwidth (800 to 2500 MHz).
Therefore the whole frequency range of the most common mobile communiction bands and W-LAN data transmission accord. to IEEE 802.11b/g or Bluetooth can be covered by one protector only. On the other hand the DC break type is not symmetric, i.e. there are defined ports for the antena and for the protected transceiver side.
