The gas flow regulation valve (V1 #11836) locks with a push-twist operation onto the conical connector end of the Torch handpiece (BH).
The valve V1 allows some fine tuning of the flame. Its main purpose is to extinguish the flame with a quick ON -> OFF control of the gas flow.
Flame size is basically established by choosing a tip of convenient size. The flame size can be fine tuned with the valve.
