Mobile professional all round oilskimmer for almost any purpose where oils must be removed. Max. temp. 60°C (140°F) Build-in battery, so no electric connection needed.
Type 42 (Skim Portable) is a mobile oil skimmer, which can be moved from one machine to another to remove surface oils, tramp oils and greases from a machine coolant sump, in tanks or any other place where these undesired oils should be removed. The skimmer has a broad band and is capable of removing large amounts of surface oil from different applications including alkaline de-greasing machines, ultra sound baths, industrial cleaning baths and also to remove tramp oil heavily contaminated machine tool coolant sumps. All that is necessary is to place the oil skimmer on the edge of the reservoir, switch on and the oil removing process will instantly begin. The oil skimmer has a reservoir built-in and should be emptied as necessary. If you should forget to empty the oil skimmers reservoir no harm is done, because the oil there isn't space for will just return to the tank. The running time from the built-in NiMH battery is up to 9 hours non-stop before it needs to be recharged. The battery is non-polluting and can be recharged more than 1000 times.
Do not use this skimmer in strong acid or alcalics (we advise to keep in between 5 - 10 pH)
