Geographical data management software

How can you integrate and share decentralised and disparate GIS data and systems within a single system?
GIS software is now widely used in many organisations - central and local government, utility companies and private sector businesses. Often different departments in the same organisation have acquired specific solutions that include GIS functionality, to meet their own business needs. It is quite common to find that each department has its own GIS software and reference data managed independently. Frequently, they are not directly compatible with the systems implemented in other departments.
In such cases, the only way to make these data interoperable is by a two-way data exchange. This results in the creation of many, often divergent, versions of core data. At best this is highly inefficient, and at worst this leads to bad decision making and increased costs.
The Geospatial Hub is designed to remove these inefficiencies.
