Most charging applicators are made in the form of a bar or rod which is placed across the machine and aimed at the material to be charged. An alternative to "bar" applicators is the smaller, less cumbersome, StaticBond™ Spot Chargers. Although a "bar" may seem instinctively a better choice, equally effective and often times more efficient results can be achieved by placing just a few Spot Chargers strategically across the material. Electrostatic charges can be deposited on insulative materials most efficiently when the material to be charged is against a grounded background surface.
