Description

The FGD5/6-IR Infrared Flammable Gas Detector is available in two different versions:-

A Voltage Output, Pellistor Replacement version.
A Current Output, 4-20mA version.

The Voltage Output, Pellistor Replacement version of the FGD5/6-IR is a direct replacement for existing pellistor a positive output.

Unless otherwise requested, the FGD5/6-IR is set during manufacture to provide an output signal of 20mV per % volume methane. However, it can be configured to provide an output signal of between 15 and 30mV per % volume methane. This enables it to simulate the output from the various pellistor types currently in use.
