The coolcept inverter works on plug and play system. Its ethernet interface is connected to a router to directly transfer the inverter's data from the data logger to the StecaGrid Portal. The portal can be easily setup with the link to the system data entry mask where the system output, the modules used, the system's location, the installed inverter's serial number is to be entered. StecaGrid Portal enables a combination of up to 5 coolcept and coolcept-x inverters to one system. The data of all the individual devices are summed to display as a complete system. The system data from the system operator can be published on the website by using StecaGrid Portal (offered in collaboration with meteocontrol) for two years at free of cost. On completion of two years, any optional use is chargeable from the system operator
