Steridium shaking incubators incorporate our high performance orbital shaker which is built into our standard range of laboratory incubators. The precision engineered shaker can be fitted to any of the shelves of the incubators thereby enabling several shakers to be incorporated into one incubator depending on size. The smallest unit that will accommodate the shaker is the i140.

Operating temperature range from 4 °C to 50 °C.

All shaking incubators are fitted with a magnetic seal which permits operation up to 50°C, with refrigerated incubators operating down to 4°C. Solid doors are available with an optional inner glass viewing door to maintain temperature while being able to inspect the product. Alternatively, full double-glazed viewing doors can be fitted which provide permanent viewing of the interior chamber.

Microdigital control technology

Steridium engineers have developed state of the art microdigital control systems to give exceptional temperature control stability over time. That same technology is built into the shaker control systems to give features such as soft start, digital speed and time indication, countdown timer facility, and a range of speeds up to 200 rpm.

The orbital shakers can be fitted with trays and clips to handle a wide variety of items found in today’s modern laboratories.
