Flow control valve
Sterling Hydraulics

  • flow control valve Sterling Hydraulics
BASIC FUNCTION
Flow regulating valves are restrictive flow controllers designed to control flow at a level below that of the main supply to suit the requirements of a specific service, and are available in three distinctive styles.

The most basic valve is an adjustable needle valve that offers direct restrictive control of flow and is therefore sensitive to pressure differential.

A pressure compensated, 2 port, spool type valve provides a restricted outlet flow that can be set to a fixed level independent of the pressure differential.

A 3 port version of this valve also allows a bypass flow from the second outlet port to feed a further service at a flow equal to the inlet flow less the controlled priority flow.

RANGE CAPABILITY
Sterling flow regulating valves are suitable for use up to 420 bar (6000 psi) with flow capacities up to 160 l/min ( 42 USgpm).
