Storopack supplies thermo boxes made of EPS (Styropor), EPP and Neopor for temperature-sensitive products used in the pharmaceutical and food industries which have to be stored and transported within a specific temperature spectrum.

Alongside a selection of 22 different standard boxes and system solutions, we also offer made-to-measure thermo boxes developed precisely in line with specific customer requirements.

A question which frequently arises is the length of time a certain thermo box is able to keep the transported product cool within the required temperature range. It is not possible to provide a generally applicable answer to this question, due to the wide variety of different influencing parameters such as the outdoor temperature, material density of the transported product, pre-cooling, type of cooling elements used and so on. This makes expert advice taking into consideration all these parameters extremely important. Only with the right advice is it possible to configure the ideal insulating box and ensure that the transported product reaches the end customer in perfect condition. Our development team is on hand to offer competent advice at any time to help you find just the right packaging solution. The thermo boxes can also be subjected to practical testing in our own climatic chamber, which realistically simulates external temperature changes and records the internal temperature inside the box by means of a data logger.
