Description

The Regular Air Knife provides good performance with a 30:1 air amplification ratio that is less efficient that the Advanced Air Knife. Air consumption is ~3.4 SCFM per inch at 80 PSIG. The Regular Air Knife is a good choice when a less expensive alternative is required. It has slightly higher noise levels and uses more compressed air than the Advanced Air Knife. Streamtek Air Knife systems utilize compressed air for industrial applications that include dust blow off, drying, cooling, and removing excess liquids/oils. An air knife is effective and efficient. The uniform (laminar) sheet of air is projected along the entire length of the Air Knife to provide an air flow that covers the entire surface of the product. System payback on compressed air savings can be in as little as a few weeks for some applications. FEATURES - Instant ON/OFF with no moving parts, no electricity or explosion hazard. - Multiple air inlet ports on either the ends or back in a compact design with additional mounting holes on the back. - Airflow amplification of up to 30:1 compared to 3:1 for drilled pipe or open tubes and jets. SPECIFICATIONS Stainless steel or aluminum are materials of construction. Eleven standard lengths: 3", 6", 9", 12", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", and 54".
