Function and application
MEA/MBA electromagnetic single disc clutches are the "workhorses" among clutches. With their high work capacity they can accelerate large flywheel masses free from backlash, and are therefore ideal for diesel drives.
Application fields are general and heavy machinery, in particular rolling mill plant; mining, paper, mixing machinery; and electrical and diesel gensets.
