The active rotor brake callipers BCHM and BCH are fixed calliper disc brakes designed precisely for the targeted and fast braking of the rotor shaft on the high speed side. The rotor brake callipers are characterised by their compact design, simple construction, high reliability and thermal capacity, a good price-performance ratio, and particular serviceability.
The sintered metal linings are able to absorb high braking energies.
Actuated directly by hydraulic pressure, the brake operates quickly and reliably. The patented wear compensation system "CRT" ensures that the activation time is unvaryingly short at all times. When the integrated sensor indicates that the wear threshold has been reached, the friction linings can be replaced quickly and easily. Short plant downtimes are therefore ensured.
