Released by spring pressure (in special cases also vice versa).

* Smallest dimensions with highest torques
* Torque transmission through form-fit crown gears
* Engagement at speed zero only
* No residual torque in open condition
* Small teeth backlash at the guiding teeth
* In relation to the specific series, zero backlash possible
* With shaft/hub clutch free from axial force
* With shaft separating clutches less axial force with engaged clutch
* With or without sliprings
* Maintenance-free or less maintenance required
* Simple handling
