The SC6PLUS is a colony counter manufactured by Stuart. The unit is designed with pressure sensitive counting, adequate count facility, bright white energy-saving LED lighting, BioCote antimicrobial security, and audible count confirmation. It comes with a light or dark background, and can be connected to a printer or computer. The device features a white 3-digit LED display, dimensions of 310 x 300 x 140mm, weight of 1.5kg, and electrical power supply of 90 to 240V, 50/ 60Hz, 70W. The pressure needed in registering a count can be adjusted for each user. Averaging facility calculates average count over multiple plates. Counting results and useful statistics, including SD, can be sent directly to the accessory printer, or to a computer through the equipped USB cable.
