The inventive design and engineering of dual tower design of the DBP uses desiccant to absorb of water from compressed air continually. The process of drying is conducted by allowing wet compressed air to pass through one of the towers to absorb moisture. The process followed is devised in an innovative way, where a blower is used to pass through ambient air via low watt density heater. As soon as this takes place in close vicinity of ambient pressure, the hot air goes through the wet bed thus resulting in the removal of water vapor.
