when required. Since the pump does not produce any flow or pressure when the
Savtec valve is closed, it does not exert any load on the power take-off and therefore allows switching while the power take-off
is still engaged.
The Savtec pump can be controlled remotely, from a panel switch, or automatically by means of an manual brake or pressure sensor, for example.
The Savtec pump also acts as an emergency stop in case of hose failure. For example, a switch that is operated by the driver of a forestry loader allows the hydraulic system to be shut down quickly in event of a hose failure.
