SMT produces stainless steel tubing that meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by ASTM, and ASME for the following specifications below.

ASTM A554: Welded, scale-free austenitic stainless steel tubing for aesthetic and mechanical applications where superior finish and corrosion resistance is needed, such as handrails, grab bars, and automotive trim.

ASTM A269: Welded, annealed austenitic stainless steel tubing for low- or high-temperature applications with general corrosion resistance. Used for industrial plumbing systems, automotive exhaust, heavy fabricating or bending, and non-contact food service applications.

ASTM A270: Welded, annealed austenitic stainless steel tubing for the dairy, food, and beverage industries. Special surface finish required; pharmaceutical quality available.

ASTM A249: Welded, cold-worked, annealed, scale-free austenitic stainless steel tubing for boilers, superheaters , heat exchanger, or condensers.

ASTM A268: Welded ferritic stainless steel tubing that is corrosion-resistant for general high-temperature service such as automotive exhaust.
