Description

Dial bore gages are specialized tools used to measure the inside diameter of a machined hole, typically used during the manufacturing process or when resizing a bore such as in engine building. Dial bore gages are particularly handy when measuring bores in large workpieces when it is easier to measure the workpiece in place than to take the workpiece to a gaging station. Sunnen Dial Bore Gages are fast, easy and accurate, and come in a wide range of models with different lengths, read outs, diameter ranges and with or without retractable probes. They all feature all-carbide gaging points, wear-proof ball crank, and adjustable centralizers. Each gage comes packed in its own sturdy box with all tools and wrenches required for setup and adjustment. Sunnen Dial Bore Gages can be used in tandem with Sunnen Setting Fixtures for a complete system which eliminates the need for ring gages, micrometers or jo blocks. Gage Specifications Sunnen Dial Bore Gages and Setting Fixtures are available to cover diameters from .054” to 6” (13,71 mm to 152,4 mm), optional to 12” diameters (309 mm) Dial Bore Gage models are available with readouts in .0001” or .0005” increments (metric versions 0.002 mm or 0.010 increments) Digital models available with dual readouts in both .0001” and 0.001 mm increments
