Flexible embedded single board computer with Intel-Atom E3800-processor (Bay Trail) ---- IPC/NETSBC-8 embedded single board computers (SBC’s) are equipped with a high-performance Intel Atom BayTrail processor. The BayTrail processors impress thanks to their low-power design. Only minimal waste heat is produced as a result of the low power consumption, which has a positive effect on the MBTF values (mean time between failures) on the single board computer. IPC/NETSBC-8 single board computers work without any moving parts. They are suitable for 24/7 continuous operation and are designed for an extended temperature range of between –40 and +85 °C on a component level. Thanks to the fanless industrial design, the single board computers are resistant to vibrations, shocks, heat and cold. As with all embedded computers from Syslogic, the single board computers in the IPC/NETSBC-8 Series have long-term availability. Time-consuming, cost-intensive requalifications are thus unnecessary, which in turn guarantees low total operating costs. The industrial PCs are suitable for use with operating systems such as DOS or Windows Embedded Standard.
