TagMaster Readers consist of antenna, transmitter, receiver, a computer function to process and store information, and interfaces for communication with other systems. Besides reading ID-tags, the Readers have a built-in detector that can detect the movement of a passing object. The Readers are built around a standard Linux operating system and has an open development platform
