Tandler spiral bevel gearboxes are suitable for use in all cases where direction changes or branch-off connections are required in rotary transmission engineering. They can be mounted in any position or arrangement as the gearbox is of rectangular design, with all faces machined. The input axis can be located on the right or left, as required. Ratios up to 6:1 speed reducing and up to 1:2 speed increasing are available up to 8000 Nm. 8 gearbox sizes provide output torque capacities and each size can be provided in seven different variants.

Spiral bevel gearboxes are applied where quiet changes of direction of high speed and high torque rotary transmission are required. The gearboxes are used in a wide variety of industrial applications, particularly, printing, packaging, mechanical handling, textile and chemical industries for all direction changes of rotary motion control and regulating operations where low mechanical play is needed.

One Way and Two Way Auxiliary Gearboxes (Multi Shaft Gearboxes). They permit branching from the input shaft horizontally in X and Y as well as upwards and downwards (Z axis) from i=1.25 upwards. If further outputs are required, standard version gearboxes can be equipped with horizontal and vertical driven shafts.
