The written maximum performances are with bending machine equipped with Independent Support (SI).
The ALPHA 160 follows the same construction principles of all the bending machines belonging to the ALPHA serie: the application of the independent supports.
These tool allow the shafts to work in a restricted manner, and therefore without the jerking as in the traditional bending machines, discharging the deflection forces onto the slides and, as a consequence, on the machine body.
In this way the capacities of the bending machines are radically increased, enabling machining operations that are usually destined to larger size machines still maintaining the absolute working freedom, without creating any obstacles at the introduction and unloading of the material between the bending rolls.
