An outbalanced boom is inserted into the core of the reel of packaging material to be moved and installed into the packaging machinery. Another way of handling the same situation is to attach a coregripper tool that can rotate the roll 90 degrees which is necessary if the rolls vertically are picked up from the pallet. Rollhandling is a common feature in the food processing industry where rolls of packaging foil are changed at intervals.
