Use
Abyss can do several types of soil investigations : auger, conventional coring, destructive drilling with parameter recorder, dynamic penetrometer, SPT etc…
Versatility
Abyss can easily be transported on a trailer,towed by a small truck. Abyss can drill with water, with air, with top hammer, with bottom hammer, up to 325 ft
deep. It can take rods up to 3 m long.
Performance
Thanks to its inboard accessories and its manageability, Abyss can be erected on a hole very quickly. Thanks to its kick back, Abyss can remove casings easily and quickly
Safety
Abyss is equipped with a complete control panel which is at the left of the machine, and with one portable control panel for the translation functions.
Galaxy is equipped with passive emergency stops in order to instantaneously stop all the moving functions of the rig, without voluntary human intervention.
