Use the interval stirring mode during the attachment phase to further reduce agitation of the media or when culturing particularly fragile cells. The stirrers create virtually no heat making them suitable for use in both incubators and cold rooms. Use the biological stirrer with Cole-Parmer® Essentials culturing flasks—order separately. The culture flasks with a unique base design and the bulb-ended stirrer ensure that the cells are lifted into suspension at the lowest possible speeds promoting high cell yields.
