The low speed saw C100 belongs to the small manual cutting machines family, well known for their high precision in cutting small dimension samples; this is an essential requirement for all laboratories, where the quality of results is a decisive factor: the sample structure must be preserved from any damage which could compromise the following microscopic examination.
The cutting process, with the precision cut-off saw takes longer than with the normal abrasive cutters, because of the low speed. The sample is fixed to its support and put on the wafering blade, then it will be sectioned without altering its structure, thanks to the combination of the force of gravity with the variable loads applied.
Specimen are sectioned using diamond wafering blades.
The low speed saw C100 allows to section a wide range of samples, such as metal, electronic, mineral and biological.
