LinTec is an industrial Panel PC designed to be used with SCADA or production management software also in harsh environment.
LinTec is available with Microsoft Windows XP Embedded operating system or a customized GNU/Linux distribution based on the new 2.6 kernel.
Both operationg systems runs from an internal CompactFlash memory to assure a reliable protection against data corruption.
The operating system is loaded in read-only mode during the boot making impossible that virus or operator error may damage the filesystem.
Remote control and network access utilities are included in both the configurations.
