Immersion painting system: cataphoresis Tecnofirma spa

These are dipping painting systems where the transport of the paint particles takes place by an electrical effect.

The piece acts as a cathode and attracts the paint. The system allows penetration and therefore total coverage, including of the recesses, with uniform thicknesses.

The process has the same characteristics as anaphoresis, only the polarities change (in anaphoresis the piece acts as an anode) and so different paints are used.

According to the paint, greater resistance to corrosion can be obtained and today the cataphoresis system is preferred in the car sector as an alternative to anaphoresis.
