Along the same lines as with the pneumatic models, the machine is made up of a pendular parallelogram being balanced by an air spring plus a radial arm. The assembly being made up of both members fixes the motor head and keeps it in a position being perpendicular to the working area.
The electronically controlled motor is provided with a numeric control (NC) system. The unit is apt to be operated in manual or automatic mode in such a way that it allows to configure an control by means of a six-key professional keyboard being arranged at the top of the motor such aspects as:
- Right- and left-hand turning control
- Thread type (Metric, Whitworth, etc.)
- Depth control
- Time of tool lubrication
- Type of material, resistance
- Tapping speed
A set of 6 reducer modules are apt to be fitted to the motor output by means of a quick-change system and allow to adjust the tapping speed as a function of the metric pitch to mechanise.
Said modules incorporate as well a quick-change system being apt to receive the professional tap holder with or without safety professional clutch.
