SENTINEL™ S/5 is an event driven, high performance print professional management software tool designed to process enterprise wide professional label and form professional printing data, regardless of format. It enables host applications to print to any designated printer anywhere in the enterprise. SENTINEL Data Exchange allows users to exchange information with common databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access and more.
SENTINEL print management professional software enables data from a host system to be merged with CODESOFT label designs without requiring complex and costly modifications to the host application. The SENTINEL S/5 "sentinel watch" approach supports any enterprise system, including host applications from SAP, Baan, JD Edwards, Oracle, PeopleSoft and others.
SENTINEL S/5 with CODESOFT print management software uses the CODESOFT print engine which currently supports over 1,000 printer device types in addition to Windows drivers for supporting Professional laser, Dot Matrix and other office type professional printers. Each of the printer drivers developed for CODESOFT was done so in close collaboration with the printer manufacturers to take advantage of today's manufacturer of thermal transfer printer technologies as well as emerging technologies, such as RFID.
