The TEKNA Model TK 427N "4 axis CNC vertical Machining Centre is designed for drilling, conventional milling and copy milling operations on aluminum profiles and other materials including steel profiles up to 5 mm thick, plain or steel reinforced PVC profiles, and various other plastics or wood.
Special fabricated and weined steel bed frame with finish machinend, linear recirculating ball slideways on X axis. Double precision rack and pinion axis motion driven by brushless motor with a rapid travers rate of 80 m/1'.
Bridge type gantry assembly with cast structural beams that include finish machined, "Y" and "Z" axis linear recirculating ball slideways. Recirculating ball screw (Y) and precision rack (Z). Motion driver by brushless motors with a rapid-traverse rate of 30 meters per minute (Y) and 40 meters per minute (Z).
Mist coolant system utilizing "micro-drop" technology.
Twin - machine divided into two areas for lengths from 6200 on. While the unit is machining on one side, the operator can safely load/unload the second work area thus reducing set up time increasing productivity.
